Lance Corporal (LCpl)
Participated in the training program for a minimum period of five months

Corporal (Cpl)
Completed at least six months of service at the rank of LCpl and successfully completed the green star level training program

Master Corporal (MCpl)
Completed at least six months of service at the rank of Cpl and successfully completed the red star level training program

Sergeant (Sgt)
Completed at least six months service at the rank of MCpl, and successfully completed the silver star level training program

Warrant Officer (WO)
Completing at least six months service at the rank of Sgt and successfully completed the gold star level training program

Master Warrant Officer (MWO)
Completing at least six months service at the rank of WO and successfully completing PO 503 and PO 504

Chief Warrant Officer (CWO)
Completing at least six months service at the rank of MWO
